1. Quiz (30-40 minutes) - two to three times during the term

2. TA or TI introduction and activities (20 minutes maximum)

• Introduce the lab content and learning objectives
• Pre-Lab Discussion (5 minutes)
• Provide lab exercise tips and trouble shooting for activities

*The introduction during lab 1 of each term is expected to be slightly longer. Concisely cover the syllabus and course policies*

3. Lab Exercises (2 hours)

• TAs and TIs provide guidance and instruction throughout the exercises
• Provide students with a time line for the lab exercises and keep students on task

4. Lab Clean-Up and Organization (10 minutes)

• Students clean up lab space, put away supplies
• TAs approve student clean up signature
• After student’s leave, TAs do final check to ensure room is in order
